Dr. Mohd Shahid Mohd Noh is a Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, a position he has held since 2018.
With a strong background in Quranic studies and Islamic scholarship, he holds qualifications from Darul Quran JAKIM and Al-Azhar University, Egypt. He later specialised in Islamic finance, earning a Master’s in Muamalah (KUIS), a Master of Islamic Finance Practice (INCEIF), and a Ph.D. in Islamic Economics and Muamalat from USIM.
His expertise includes Fiqh Muamalat, Islamic economics, Islamic capital markets, and Islamic legal theory, and he actively contributes to the advancement of Islamic finance in both academic and community settings.
